David and Shanna Smith have combined their interests, talents and love for marine life and art, to create original designs and bring them to life in the form of Fused Stained Glass. Click here to see how they are made.

       David, a talented artist and International Game Fishing Association World Record holder, and Shanna, an accomplished craftswomen, began their careers in the stained glass field in 1985. By 1986, they were quickly earning recognition in the stained and fused glass community and gaining respect as award winning, internationally known stained and fused glass artists. David and Shanna have been commissioned to design original stained glass art work for many prominent South Floridians and California Celebrities.

       While David spends much of his free time fishing, he and Shanna have turned their love for the sea into unique designs of fused glass fish known as "SMISH". David & Shanna’s unique perspective brings their work a quality which separates them from other glass artists.

       Each "SMISH' is a signed original creation.  Featuring individual creatures from the sea, each "SMISH" is imaginatively designed, carefully hand cut, decorated, and fired in a kiln under intense heat.  Since no two SMISH are alike, and each one combines the intense colors, beauty and whimsical  personalities in fused glass. SMISH are capturing the hearts of environmentalists and joyous people everywhere.  They have become collectibles because of their unusual features and unique designs.

       The demand for these unique designs required David and Shanna to establish a stained and fused glass studio.  They not only sell their SMISH at Art festivals all over Florida but now you can find Smish in many top Art & Glass Galleries throughout the USA Main Land and Hawaii.

Recently Janet Jones joined in the Smish and Fused Glass Studio. Janet is an accomplished Artist and has brought a new twist. Shanna & Janet are working on some new and exciting creations including Bowls, Ornaments and other fun Creations.
